The sun is shining across the whole region, and the sky is mostly cloudless. A northerly foehn is blowing once again in many valleys. In the afternoon, temperatures will rise to 19° in the Wipptal and up to 26° in the Etschtal and the Unterland.
Mountain weather today:
The sun is generally shining from a mostly cloudless sky. Visibility is excellent, but the wind remains strong from the north.

Once the local low stratus clouds have cleared, the sun is set to shine widely again on Wednesday. The foehn will ease off. Thursday will start off sunny. During the morning, cloud cover will increase, with local showers along the main Alpine ridge in the evening. At the same time, the north foehn will pick up. On Friday, sunny weather will prevail across much of the region, with a light Föhn continuing. Saturday will bring lots of sunshine with maximum temperatures of up to 25°.
