4. Snow shoe hike from Sesto to Monte Rosso

Description of the way

We go by bus from Berghotel (1370 m) to Passo Monte Croce. We walk from Passo Monte Croce on way number 131 to Nemes Alp. You follow the way, without taking abbreviations trough the wood; you could get lost otherwise! Near the alp you take way number 13 and turn right to the alp. There you follow the upper way number 13 at the left. On open area you walk in the Pullbach Valley and go until the end. There begins the steep climb over the upper Pulle (Way number 14), you pass the Senn Hut to Monte Rosso saddle. From the saddle you go to the South until the peak of Monte Rosso. Descent as climb.

Tips and advices

Stop possibility at Nemes Alp. It’s a lonely and not so much frequented tour. Please check the avalanche forecast!
