Description of the way

By car or by bus we go in the Fischlein Valley to the Dolomitenhof by car or bus. (chargeable parking place). We follow the cross country ski trail to the Talschluss hut (1.526 m). We follow the path on the right and through the Altenstein Valley (Val Sassovecchio) we arrive at the Alpe dei Piani/Bödenalm. Now we can see directly in front of us the Torre di Toblin/Toblinger Knoten and the Sasso di Sesto/Sextner Stein. We go forward, first flat and then mid-steep up-hill. Finally we climb the highest point across the north crest. The view to Monte Paterno/Paternkofel and to the north walls of the Three Peaks/Tre Cime is superb!

Descent: same way back!

Tips and advices

A much-frequented ski tour, but the view to the famous Three Peaks/Tre Cime is wonderful! The tour can be shortened going only to the Dreizinnen Hut. Ask always for the avalanche situation!
