6. MTB tour to Prato Piazza and Stolla alp

Start at the Berghotel on the bikeway to Innichen/San Candido, Toblach/Dobbiaco and further up in direction Cortina till a place called Schluderbach/Carbonin. Here after 200 m on your right starts the ascent on a large forest road for 7 km to arrive at the Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza. A wonderful high altitude meadow on 2.000 m. We cross the plateau and go to the Stolla Alm/malga on the left. From here leads a nice and medium difficult path down to Ponticello. Here proceed on path nr. 37 to Prags/Braies. Further on the bikeway back to Moos/Moso passing Niederdorf/Villabassa, Toblach/Dobbiaco and Innichen/San Candido. Tip: from the Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza on the top of the Strudelkopf/Monte Specie (2.400 m) it’s a 300 m in altitude ride, but all worth because of the breathtaking view.
