22. MTB tour from San Candido to Val Casies

Tour

Start is the Parking at the chairlift Haunold/Baranci at Innichen/San Candido. On the bikeway to Toblach/Dobbiaco and passing Aufkirchen/Santa Maria down to Niederdorf/Villabassa. At the beginning of the artisanal area, at the Pustertaler Beer take a right passing a nice church up on a paved road staying always on the left. After ca. 5 km you pass the Kleinsinner farm and the road is getting gravel. Proceed and then down towards Welsberg/Monguelfo. Before the castle turn right into the Gsiesertal/Val Casies for ca. 7 km. Arrived at a sign “Frondeigen Nr. 91” turn right and in direction Nigglerhof/Ristenhof you arrive in a saddle and further on down to Toblach/Dobbiaco. Back to the startingpoint in Innichen/San Candido on the bikeway.
